Fishing is allowed during opening ours in the pond near Jachthuis Sint Hubertus. Please note that a fishing license is required, which can be picked up for free at the information desk in the center of the Park (Park Paviljoen or Museonder).
The fishing license is valid for one calendar year.
Specific terms and conditions apply when fishing in the ponds near the Hunting Lodge. These terms will be provided when you pick up your fishing license.
Standard fishing rods only
The park exclusively permits the use of standard rods when fishing in the ponds near Jachthuis Sint Hubertus. This to protect the local carp population as much as possible. When using casting rods, more nylon fishing line ends up in the water. This poses a greater risk to local birds, as they could get tangled in the line.
